Here is the basic schedule for Winter Camp.
Fri. 5-5:30 Gather and organize at Heyer Parking lot, no later than 6:00pm leave Heyer, stop at McDonalds at Jackson at ~6:45 for dinner.
7:30 Check in at Camp with Medical Forms
8:30 Craft
9:00 Cracker Barrel (Popcorn, cheese and crackers)
9:30/10:00 ish put the scouts to bed
Sat. 7:30 Breakfast (Pancakes, sausages/Bacon)
9:00
- With snow and ice -Sledding, Ice Fishing, Hiking, Etc.
- Foul weather - no snow and ice - Marbles, Dice, LCR
12noon Lunch (Soup and Hot Dogs)
1:00
- With snow and ice - Cooking lesson, Sledding, Cross country skiing, Knots, Snow Shoeing, Ultimate, Football, etc
- Foul weather - No snow or ice - Knots, Cooking lesson, other belt loop work, den projects, etc.
3:00 Whittling Chip
4:00 Cooking class continues
5:30 Supper (Eye of Round Roast, potatoes, corn, rolls, cobblers)
7:30 Campfire
9:00 Cracker Barrel (leftovers)
9:30/10ish put the scouts to bed
Sun. 7:30 Breakfast (Pancakes Cereal Oatmeal)
8:30 Cleanup
9:30 Head for home
